Frequently asked questions

Is the mirror suitable for the bathroom?
Mirrors and electrical equipment are made for use in the bathroom. High security is assured through low-voltage technique and IP45 transformers. The use above wash basins is allowed.

How much free space has to be above the upper edge of the mirror?

2 cm

How much does the wall behind the mirror heat up?

The illuminants are separated from the wall through metal profiles and thus protected from heat. Trouble-free mounting above wallpapers or wood is possible.

Where do I get the illuminants?

We use halogen bulbs with G4 pin bases for our illuminated mirrors. You can purchase these illuminants at any stockist or do-it-yourself-store.

Are the light fields attached through adhesive bonding?

No. The mirror is made from one single piece and the surface is untreated (Rome, Fara, Escona and York). Linn´s and Venice´s surface is fine-sandblasted, which provides a perfect dispension of the light.

Where do I have to connect the transformer?

The transformer is already connected, because the illuminated mirrors come wired-up. The transformer is attached to the backside of the mirror and is not visible from the outside.

Does the mirror have a frame?

No.

What kind of finish do the edges of the mirror have?

Our mirrors do not have a C-cut, but the more elaborate and more elegant and polished bevel cut.
